If trauma has been weighing on you, intrusive memories, anxiety, shutting down, feeling constantly on guard, panic, numbness, disrupted sleep, or a lingering sense that you’re not truly safe, you don’t have to keep pushing through it alone. With the right support, a steady pace, and a space that feels secure, healing can start to feel real again. At Grand Rising Behavioral Health, we offer trauma-informed outpatient care for adults in Massachusetts, led by a compassionate clinical team in a calm, private setting. You can feel supported while you rebuild stability, confidence, and connection.
Trauma can come from a single event or years of chronic stress. Many adults come to us for help with:
Not sure if what you’ve been through “counts”? You’re still welcome here.
Our process is designed to feel clear and supportive, especially when life already feels heavy.
You don’t have to have the “right words.” You don’t have to explain it perfectly. You just have to start.
Our most structured outpatient level of care. PHP blends group therapy, individual sessions, and psychiatric services into a full daily schedule — built for adults who need the daily rhythm to stabilize after a hospitalization, during a behavioral health crisis, or when session-based therapy hasn't held.
Programming designed for adults transitioning toward greater independence while still needing consistent clinical support. This is where most of our clients spend the longest stretch of treatment — stepping down from PHP or stepping up from session-based therapy that isn't enough on its own.
A short-term step-down phase after a structured program — focused on reinforcing the skills you built and handing off to your long-term community provider. It isn't an entry point and it isn't ongoing therapy. Admission to our programming goes through PHP or IOP first.

Our clinicians use evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches and build your plan around your symptoms, goals, and pace. Where clinically indicated, treatment may draw on:
Care combines one-on-one work with the encouragement of a supportive community. When group support is part of your plan, you’ll be in a space built for encouragement and respect, not judgment.
We offer flexible outpatient options designed to meet you where you are — whether you need more structure right now or ongoing support while you rebuild momentum. Our levels of care include:
When it’s appropriate for your care, medication support is available and coordinated as part of your overall plan. Our team can help you understand your options so treatment fits your symptoms, goals, and pace.
Three simple steps from your first call to your first session — no referral needed.
Call our 24/7 admissions line or send a message. We'll ask about symptoms, safety needs, and your goals, then schedule a comprehensive assessment. Your clinician will recommend the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) & Outpatient Program (OP) based on functioning, risk, and availability, and will explain why.
Grand Rising Behavioral Health is out-of-network for insurance. Many clients with PPO plans use out-of-network benefits; others choose private pay. Our team will verify benefits, estimate costs and deductible implications, and provide documentation to help with reimbursement.
Next step: Get clear cost estimates before you start.
Verify InsuranceWhen clinically appropriate, secure telehealth sessions are available to Massachusetts residents. We'll confirm eligibility, technology needs, and whether your specific program (e.g., the Intensive Outpatient Program) can be offered virtually or in a hybrid format.
We prioritize the parts of life trauma has disrupted — feeling safe in your body, trusting people again, getting through the day without being pulled back — and set goals you can feel.
Short check-ins track changes in distress, sleep, avoidance, and daily functioning. Data isn't the whole story; your lived experience guides how we pace and adjust care.
Before discharge or step-down, you'll leave with a written plan: grounding and regulation skills, your early-warning signs, and what to do if symptoms resurface. We can coordinate with outpatient providers to keep care connected.
Finding Your Footing After Trauma in Massachusetts
Trauma can leave you feeling stuck in “alarm mode”, on edge, easily triggered, exhausted, disconnected, or unsure how to feel safe again. Sometimes it shows up as panic or anger. Other times it’s numbness, insomnia, intrusive memories, or a constant sense that something is about to go wrong.
If you’ve been trying to manage it alone, you’re not failing; you’re surviving.
At Grand Rising Behavioral Health, we help Massachusetts residents take the next step with care that’s steady, trauma-informed, and tailored, so healing can feel possible again, one grounded step at a time.

Yes. We support adults experiencing trauma-related distress, including PTSD symptoms such as triggers, intrusive memories, nightmares, hypervigilance, panic, emotional numbness, and feeling constantly “on edge.” We start by listening to what you’re dealing with and tailor care to your needs and goals.
You don’t have to label it perfectly to get help. If something continues to affect your sleep, mood, relationships, focus, or sense of safety, it matters. We’ll help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, without pressure or judgment.
We offer PHP, IOP, and Outpatient (OP) options. If you’re unsure which is right, that’s common. We’ll recommend a starting point based on your symptoms, schedule, and goals, and adjust your level of support as you stabilize and make progress.
Grand Rising Behavioral Health is out-of-network with most plans. We offer private pay options and can assist clients with PPO / out-of-network benefits when available. Coverage varies by plan, but we’ll help you understand the process and what to expect financially before you commit, so the payment side feels clear and manageable.
Take the first step towards a healthier, more balanced life. Our admissions team is here to guide you through the process and find the right level of care for your unique needs.
