Skills-Based CBT & DBT

CBT reframes the thoughts that drive use andrebuilds healthy routines. DBT skills (mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotionregulation, interpersonal effectiveness) reduce impulsive reactions and helpyou sit with cravings without acting on them. Between-session practice turnsthese into daily habits.

Medication Management



For some people, medication reduces cravings and supports recovery. Our prescribers evaluate fit, explain options in plainlanguage, and coordinate medication-assisted treatment and any mental-healthmedications so they support — not replace — therapy.

Trauma-Informed, Dual-Diagnosis Care

Substance use and trauma, depression, or anxiety oftentravel together. We treat them in the same plan rather than sending you to twoplaces.

Partial Hospitalizaiton Program (PHP)

5 days a week
approx 5 hours a day

Our most structured outpatient level. Day Treatment blendsgroup therapy, individual sessions, and psychiatric services into a full dailyschedule — built for adults who need daily rhythm to stabilize after detox,residential, or a relapse.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

3–5 days a week

Programming for adults transitioning toward greaterindependence while still needing consistent clinical support — where mostclients spend the longest stretch of treatment, stepping down from DayTreatment or up from weekly therapy that isn't enough alone.

Grand Rising is an out-of-networkprovider. We work with most PPO plans and offer private-pay options, and we verify your out-of-network benefitsin minutes so you know what to expect before you start. Do you provide medical detox?

We're an outpatient program, so we don't provide medicaldetox on-site. If you need detox first, we'll help you coordinate it and stepyou into our Day Treatment or Structured Outpatient program once you'remedically stable.

What is dual-diagnosis (co-occurring) treatment?

It means treating a substance use disorder and amental health condition — like depression, anxiety, or PTSD — at the same time,in one coordinated plan. It's a core strength of ours.

What's the difference between Day Treatment,Structured Outpatient, and Standard Outpatient?

Day Treatment (PHP) is the most structured — a full daily schedule. Structured Outpatient (IOP) is a lower daily intensity that fits alongside work or family. Standard Outpatient is a short-term step-down that reinforces your skills before handing off to long-term community support.

Can I do substance use treatment via telehealth in Massachusetts?

Yes — eligible MA residents can attend much of ouroutpatient programming by secure telehealth. We'll advise when in-person careis the better fit.

How does out-of-network insurance work?
