Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

What it looks like

You’ll participate in a mix of skills groups, individual sessions, and psychiatric care and medication management. PHP offers the most structure outside of an inpatient setting, and is ideal when symptoms are acute or functioning has slipped, and you need daily support to reset.

Goals

Stabilize mood, reduce risk, jump-start healthy routines, and practice skills with coaching and feedback.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

3-5 days/week
3-4 hours/day

What it looks like

Focused group therapy, weekly individual check-ins, and medication monitoring as needed. IOP is a step-down from PHP or a step-up from standard outpatient care if weekly therapy hasn’t been enough.

Keep momentum, strengthen coping, and support a return to work/school with structure.

Outpatient Program (OP)

5 days/week
60- 90 minute sessions

What it looks like

Your Personalized Plan

Your clinician will recommend a level of care and therapy mix based on your goals, symptom pattern, supports at home, and any co-occurring concerns (like anxiety). You’ll leave with a clear start date and what to bring.
